  • The focus of Boxer heart screening is subaortic stenosis and other congenital cardiac disease.
  • They should be screened at a minimum age of 1 year by auscultation (stethoscope) and examination.
  • Echocardiography (Doppler ultrasound) should be performed if a grade 2/6 or louder murmur is present.
