2026 VCS Autumn Meeting – 12–14 November

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back for this year’s VCS Autumn Meeting, with a packed programme of cardiology, clinical discussion and plenty of opportunities to catch up with colleagues.

The meeting kicks off on Thursday evening, with the annual breed / CSAG meeting. Following on from the success of 2025’s social there will be an additional evening talk hosted by Dr Mark Rishniw, with a buffet dinner for attendees.

Across Friday and Saturday, the scientific programme includes sessions on TEER, updates on MMVD classification, juvenile ventricular tachycardia, ECG in canine cardiomyopathies, plus our annual updates from ECVIM and ACVIM. Comparative medicine sessions include clinical governance in paediatric intensive care from Dr Suzy Dean, and echocardiography in mitral valve disease from Dr Joseph Okafor,

Friday also includes the AGM, before our sponsored cheese and wine poster presentations and our annual gala dinner with everyone’s favourite silent disco.

We’ve listened to feedback following the menu issues at last year’s gala dinner. The venue has acknowledged that the meal fell below expectations and has provided a discount, which we’re passing on through a £5 in the evening entertainment price.

We’re also pleased to be offering reduced registration rates for veterinary nurses, students and retired members, helping make the meeting as accessible as possible across the VCS community.

We hope to see lots of you there in November!
