Why are we starting this

We are launching this Journal Club as a “test project” to see how we can best support each other in evidence-based practice. Our goal is to create a low-pressure yet high-yield environment where members can dissect new research, challenge findings, and discuss how the latest data translates to the clinic floor.

How it Works

  • Frequency: Sessions will take place every 8 weeks.

  • The Format: Each meeting will be held on Teams; it focuses on one key peer-reviewed paper. One hour duration. A member will volunteer to lead the session by presenting a summary of the research, supported by a few PowerPoint slides, followed by an open-floor discussion.

  • Collaborative Dialogue: we want to hear your thoughts! Active discussion is highly recommended, as the best insights often come from our collective clinical experience.

We Need Your Help to Make This Sustainable

Because this is a new experiment, its success depends entirely on member engagement. For this project to be sustainable and for us to coordinate sessions that work for everyone, we need a clear picture of the schedule.

Without a clear understanding of when the majority of our members can meet, we won’t be able to maintain the momentum needed to keep the club running. Please take two minutes to log your preferences so we can lock in our first date.

Get Involved

Whether you want to present a paper you’re passionate about or simply want to join the conversation, we welcome your participation.
